Join us this Autumn as our iconic courtyard transforms into an abundant, colourful retreat created in partnership with Whitley Neill, a unique gin bred from a rich history of distillers and crafted from only the highest quality botanicals.
Taking inspiration from Whitley Neill’s tagline, “crafted from the tree of life,” we’ll be taking guests on a voyage of discovery through beautiful florals, fruits and botanicals from around the globe. Wrap up in warm blankets, sip a gin cocktail and watch the world go by in a blaze of copper and burnt orange branches, and an archway worthy of any picturesque orchard.
Working with an array of Whitley Neill’s award-wining flavoured gins, Hush’s William Solorzano has created four special cocktails celebrating the Whitley Neill family’s history of voyage and adventure. The sweet and tangy Prince of Quince with Whitley Neill Quince Gin, Apple Liqueur, Prosecco, Lemon Juice, Soda Water, dry Apple, Lemon and Tarragon celebrates Frederick Neill’s quest for botanicals whilst the Ahead of the Med with Blood Orange Whitely Neill Gin, Italicus Bergamot, Lemonade, Prosecco, dried grapefruit, lime and rosemary evokes the Sicilian romance sparked by Frederick Neill and his new wife. The wild and fruity Ramble in the Brambles with Whitley Neill Blackberry Gin, Violet Liqueur, Vanilla Syrup, Lime Juice, dry Orange, Tonic Water and Dill keeps things close to home with memories of Johnny Neill’s grandmother’s quintessential English country garden, or, for a taste of the sun setting over the South African veld, the cool and refreshing Safari Sundowner with Whitely Neill Gin, Elderflower, Cucumber, Lime Juice, Mint and Tonic Water speaks of the Whitley Neill Original’s South African botanicals and British design.
